Researchpad keeps your entries only in this browser on this device — nothing is uploaded, no account (voice input uses your browser's speech service). Closing a private window or clearing browser data erases them, and they don't move to another device by themselves: save a backup file regularly.
Dated events with their sources, spoken instead of typed
One entry per event: when it happened, what happened, and where you read it. Speak each field with the big microphone buttons; nothing needs fine cursor work.
Researchpad sends your entries nowhere. Dictation is your browser's own speech recognition: depending on the browser, the sound may go to its maker's speech service while it becomes text (Google for Chrome, Apple for Safari, Microsoft for Edge), and Researchpad never receives it. Firefox has no dictation; use your keyboard's microphone key there. Source addresses open only when you tap them.
